Abstract
The works of updating the old berth structures are involved with application of ever advancing technologies. The combination of new structure with the old through construction process to realize the design concept is a problem facing the construction company responsible for the berths updating works. The present paper presents discussions on the application of steel cases in reformation of berths, by citing an example of using the steel cases in an actual work of updating a piled berth structure with a low soffit of suspended deck.关键词
