Abstract
Objective To explore the short-term clinical efficacy of unicompartment versus total knee arthroplasty in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods 64 cases of osteoarthritis of knee joint treated at our hospital from May,2014 to March,2016 were selected.According to the different surgical methods, they were divided into a control group (n=32) and a study group (n=32).The study group were treated with unicompartment knee arthroplasty and the control group total knee arthroplasty. The pain degree (VAS),range of motion, and knee function (HSS) were compared between the two groups before and after operation;and the incidences of complications in the two groups was statistically analyzed. Results The operation time and bleeding volume were (56.12 ± 17.26) main and (144.47 ± 28.71) ml in the study group, which were significantly less than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P < 0.05).There were no statistical differences in VAS score, range of motion, and HSS score between these two groups before operation (P > 0.05);after operation, the VAS score, range of motion, and HSS score were (2.08 ± 0.72),(121.62 ± 5.06),and (85.10 ±7.77) in the study group, which were better than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P< 0.05).The incidence of complications was 6.26% in the study group and was 3.13% in the control group, with no statistical difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion The effect of unicompartment arthroplasty in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis is remarkable and safe, can reduce the operation time and intraoperative bleeding volume and improve joint pain, range of motion, and function, and does not increase the incidence of complications.关键词
