Abstract
Peritoneum consists of a single layer of mesothelium and a small amount of connective tissue. Peritoneal diseases mainly include peritoneal tumors and inflammatory lesions. Peritoneal tumors can be subdivided into primary peritoneal tumors and secondary peritoneal tumors. The incidence of secondary peritoneal tumors is far higher than that of primary peritoneal tumors. Secondary peritoneal tumors include peritoneal carcinomatosis, peritoneal pseudomyxoma, peritoneal lymphomatosis and peritoneal sarcomatosis. Summarizing the imaging features of secondary peritoneum tumors and the related research progress can help radiologists improve the diagnostic accuracy of peritoneal secondary tumors and guide clinical diagnosis and treatment. Ultrasound, CT, MR and PET/CT imaging features of peritoneal secondary tumors were reviewed.关键词
