Effects of Atorvastatin calcium combined with Aspirin on serum levels of Hcy,NSE,UA,hs-CRP and inflammatory factors of patients with cerebral infarction

Abstract
[ABSTRACT]Objective:To study the effects of Atorvastatin calciumcombined with Aspirin on serum levels of homocys-teine(Hcy),neuron-specific enolase(NSE),uric acid(UA),high sensitity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and inflammatory fac-tors of patients with cerebral infarction.Methods:A total of 100 patients with cerebral infarction were treated in the Depart-ment of Neurology of our hospital and affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology of traditional Chinese medi-cine and Western Medicine.The subjects were divided into the control group (n =50)and treatment group (n =50)randomly. The control group were treated with Aspirin,the treatment group were treated with Atorvastatin calcium combined with Aspi-rin.Both groups were treated for 28 days.The serum levels of Hcy,NSE,UA,hs-CRP,interleukin-6 (IL-6),interleukin-8 (IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)of the two groups before and after treatment were compared.Results:There were no significantly differences of the serum levels of the Hcy,NSE,UA and hs-CRP of the two groups before treatment (P >0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of the Hcy,NSE,UA and hs-CRP of the two groups were significantly lower than be-fore treatment,and that of the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group (P <0.05).There were no sig-nificant differences of the serum levels of the IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-αof the two groups before treatment (P >0.05).After treat-ment,the serum levels of the IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-αof the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment,and that of the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion:Atorvastatin calcium combined with Aspirin can significantly reduce the serum levels of Hcy,NSE,UA,hs-CRP,IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-αof the patients with cerebral infarction.关键词
