Abstract
Due to its complex root canal anatomy, microbes organized in a bioiflm and so on, it become diffcult to clean intraradicular bacteria colonized in the root canal system (lateral canals, dentinal tubules and so on) with root canal instruments. Thus, chemical preparation is essential for successful outcome in the root canal treatment. In this article, we review the different actions and interactions of the most commonly used irriants in order to contribute to achieving predictable disinfection of the root canal system.关键词
