Abstract
Objective To evaluate the change of serum copeptin level in the patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM ) and its clinical significance .Methods Fifty GDM patients and forty non‐GDM patients were selected as the research subjects .The serum copeptin level was measured by ELISA .HOMA‐IR ,HOMA‐β,INSAUC ,PGAUC and ΔI30/ΔG30 were calculated and analyzed . Results The copeptin level in the GDM group was significantly lower than that in control group [(3 .45 ± 0 .49) IU/mL vs . (12 .41 ± 3 .89) IU/mL ,P<0 .05] .The level of HOMA‐IR in the GDM group were significantly higher than that in the control group (3 .89 ± 1 .13 vs .2 .01 ± 0 .54 ,P<0 .05) ,while the level of HOMA‐β,INSAUC/PGAUC and ΔI30/ΔG30 were significantly lower than those in the control group(99 .14 ± 29 .81 vs .164 .13 ± 32 .80 ,P<0 .05 ;8 .21 ± 3 .54 vs .11 .98 ± 3 .82 ,P<0 .05 ;15 .12 ± 6 .35 vs .22 .67 ± 6 .69 ,P<0 .05) .The copeptin level was negatively correlated (r= -0 .489 ,P< 0 .05) and positively correlated with HOMA‐β(r=0 .521 ,P<0 .05) .No obvious relation between the copeptin level with other indicators was found .The ROC analysis showed that the AUC of copeptin for diagnosing GDM was 0 .803(95% CI:0 .732-0 .881) ,its cut‐off value was 3 .0 IU/mL with the sensitivity of 78% and specificity of 81% .Conclusion Serum copeptin level in GDM patients is reduced ,which is associated with IR and islet cell function and has a certain early warning value for GDM .关键词
