Abstract
Objective:To discuss the clinical relevance of MMP⁃14 and EMMPRIN expressing in oral squamous cell carcinoma( OSCC)�Methods:Forty⁃nine cases of patients with OSCC were chosen from Jan 2012 ⁃Jun 2014 in our hospital and were divided into the OSCC group,at the same time,13 cases patients with normal oral tissues were chosen as the control group�The expression levels of MMP⁃14 and EMMPRIN mRNA were detected by using RT⁃PCR�Results:The expression of MMP⁃14 and EMMPRIN mRNA in OSCC group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0�01)�In OSCC group,there were no statistical differences in the expression of EMMPRIN and MMP⁃14 mRNA in age and gender ( P >0�05) ,while increased significantly when in lymph node metastasis,Ⅲ~Ⅳ stage and moderate or poor differentiation( P<0�05)�The correlation coefficient between the expression of mRNA MMP⁃14 and EMMPRIN indicated positive correlation(P<0�01)�Conclusion:The expression levels of MMP⁃14 and EMMPRIN mRNA in the OSCC have a close relationship with pathological stage,differentiation and lymph node metastasis,which showing the MMP⁃14 and EMMPRIN are involved in the invasion and metastasis of OSCC�It can be helpful to estimating the severity and the prognosis of the OSCC by detecting the expression of MMP⁃14 and EMMPRIN mRNA.关键词
