Abstract
Aiming at a hydrostatic mechanical seal with parabola face ( PHS-MS ) , a theoretical model of fluid lubrication is presented. Considering the relation between the fluid viscosity and the temperature,pressure,the finite difference method is used to solve coupling mathematical model which includes the generalized Reynolds equation,the energy equation and the thermal con-duction equation. The effects of temperature rising of fluid on the sealing performance of PHS-MS are studied. The results show that when medium temperature increases,the opening force will firstly increase and then decrease,the leakage will increase,while the friction force will decrease. All the sealing performance parameters will be stable at last. The more quickly the medium temper-ature rises,the more rapidly the opening force and the leakage rate increase,the friction force is on the contrary,but the final val-ues of the sealing performance are uninfluenced.关键词
