Preoperative Anxiety and Its Influence Factors in 119 Patients with Primary Glaucoma

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the preoperative anxiety and its influence factors in patients with primary glaucoma. Methods A total of 119 patients with primary glaucoma in our hospital from June 2011 to June 2014 were selected as the objects of the study. The general data questionnaire, glaucoma knowledge questionnaire and HAMA anxiety scale were used in the investigation, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influence factors of preoperative anxiety in patients with primary glaucoma. Results The preoperative anxiety score and the detection rate of patients with primary glaucoma were respectively 14.74 ±7.54 and 53.8%. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the main influence factors of preoperative anxiety of patients with primary glaucoma were obvious predisposing factors, accompanied by other basic diseases, insomnia and low score of knowledge of glaucoma. Conclusion Patients with primary glaucoma have significant anxiety symptoms before surgery. The supportive psychological intervention should be taken for the patients with preoperative anxiety to reduce the impact of glaucoma induced factors;carrying out various forms of health education to improve the patients ’ awareness of glaucoma knowledge; using acupoint massage to improve sleep quality.关键词
