Methods Using stratified random sampling procedure,1 500 new generation of Chinese migrant workers in 7 prefecture - level cities of Pearl River Delta of China were selected as the participants of this study. A questionnaire survey was conducted in the migrant workers from August 2014 to January 2015 using Sub - health Measurement Scale Version 1. 0 ( SHMS V1. 0). A total of 1 500 questionnaires were issued and 1 238 valid ones were returned with a response rate was 82. 53%. Results The data obtained from the questionnaires showed that the total scores of SHMS V1. 0 of the migrant workers were(62. 9 ± 12. 7),and those of Physical Subscale,Psychological Subscale,Social Subscale were(67. 7 ± 13. 7),(63. 9 ± 15. 7), (58. 0 ± 16. 0),respectively. Sex,educational background status of living did not cause the difference in the total scores of SHMS V1. 0 between the migrant workers(P ﹥ 0. 05). Marital status, average personal monthly income, average household monthly income per person, mean daily working hours, place of residence were the factors causing the difference in the total scores of SHMS V1. 0 between the migrant workers(P ﹤ 0. 05). Smoking, drinking, breakfast eating habit, hours of sleep, staying up late/ working overtime, sedentariness or long - time sedentary working, occupational health safety training or health education training, level of understanding labor and social security laws and regulations and living conditions were the factors that led to the statistically significant difference in the total scores of SHMS V1. 0 between the migrant workers(P ﹤ 0. 05),while outdoor work was not(P ﹥ 0. 05). Results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the average personal monthly income, breakfast eating habit, hours of sleep, sedentariness or long - time sedentary working, occupational health safety training or health education training, and living conditions were the influencing factors of total scores of SHMS V1. 0 of the migrant workers(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion Generally speaking, the health conditions of new generation of Chinese migrant workers in Pearl River Delta of China are not satisfactory, and they are affected by the average personal monthly income, breakfast eating habit, hours of sleep, sedentariness or long - time sedentary working, occupational health and safety training or health education training, and living conditions. In view of this,we suggest that employing units and related government departments should take targeted intervention measures to improve the health status of the new generation of Chinese migrant workers.关键词
