摘要

Abstract

Moldflow software was used to simulate the gas-assisted injection-molding (GAIM) process for the vertical beam base as a part of household electrical appliances.The optimum airway layout and gas-penetration effect were obtained through a comparison of different process parameters.Sink marks and other product defects could be well avoided.The results obtained from this work could provide a good guide for GAIM and the relevant mould design.
