Abstract
In just about twenty years, enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS) has been paid much attention due to its multifaceted advantages. Various novel approaches and new techniques spring out continuously. However, there are many controversies that come along over ERAS’s specific items and over ERAS itself. Moreover, there still exist some obstacles preventing ERAS from being carried out successfully and based on Chinese situation, there are also some problems worthy of our serious thought. Nevertheless,the validity of ERAS which is a challenge to convention and an advanced surgery cancept is not compromised by these controversies and obstacies. Furthermore, to face these issues would prompt us to implement ERAS much better.关键词
