Abstract
Objective To investigate the application value of disposable curved cutter stapler in the treat-ment of rectal polyps. Methods Sixty-six patients with rectal polyps were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The 32 cases in the experimental group were treated with disposable curved cutter stapler, while the 34 cases in the control group were treated with local excision. The two groups were com-pared in efficacy, postoperative pain score, operative time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative complica-tions, hospitalization time and recurrence 6 months after surgery. Results The effective rate of the observation group and the control group was 100%. Compared with the control group, the observation group had less bleeding, milder postoperative pain, shorter operative time and hospital stay ( <0.01). The incidences of post-operative hematochezia, constipation, anal edema, urinary retention, anal stenosis and other complications in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (11.8% vs 34.4%, <0.05). After 6-month follow-up, there was no recurrence or metastasis in either group. Conclusions Disposable arc cutting stapler has satisfactory curative effect in the treatment of rectal polyps with little trauma, quick recovery, low compli-cation rate.关键词
