Abstract
Objective To explore the feasibility and safety study of lamotrigine in treatment of epileptic combined with depression disorder. Methods 194 epileptic combined with depression disorder patients cured in our hospital from July 2011 to April 2016 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the parity of ID number. Patients in control group were treated with lamotrigine, and patients in observation group were treated with sodium valproate .The clinical effect, adverse reactions, HAMD-17 and MADRS scores after 8, 16 weekends treatment were compared. Results The HAMD-17 and MADRS scores after 8, 16 weekends treatment in observation group were significantly lower than those of control group (P < 0.05). The effective rate of observation group (85.6%) were significantly better than that of control group (68.0%) (P < 0.05). The adverse reactions rate between the two groups (13.4%VS 16.5%) showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion The lamotrigine is effective and safe for epileptic patients with depression disorder. It can reduce the epileptic seizure, improve the depression disorder, and it is worth a further application in clinical treatment.关键词
