PDCA循环法在医疗废物减量化分类收集管理中的应用效果
Application effect of PDCA circulation method in classified management of medical wastes reduction

Abstract
Objective To analyze the value of PDCA cycle in the management of medical wastes reduction and classification. Methods During January 2014 to December 2015, we set up a special research working group and establish a data analysis database through multi-sectoral cooperating with experts. And then the clinical front-line staffs were trained and accessed the knowledge of the classification. To reach the goal of the reduction of medical waste, the classification collection was managed through the whole process. During clinical practice (every six months for a cycle), after two PDCA small loop management, the problems in the implementation process of the reduction and classification collection method were demonstrated and improved continuously in view of the key points of correct classification and collection. Results With the increased number of the hospital business volume and surgical patients, medical waste production was also rising. Through the implementation of PDCA cycle, the half-year average of the amount of medical waste in 2014 was 0.519 kg/bed, which was significantly decreased to 0.499 kg/bed in the second half of 2015 (P<0.01). So it achieved the purpose of reduction. In addition, the average score of the employee’s medical waste categorization collected knowledge test increased from 60.2 to 80.1. Conclusion To reach the goal of the reduction of medical waste, quality control management was implemented in the whole process. The PDCA cycle method, strengthening management of training and supervision, improving the knowledge level of correctly collection, and cultivating a good sense of reduction were all implemented to effectively promote and achieve the goal of reduction. Therefore, reducing the harm of medical waste to the environment, which had a high value, was worth to promote the application in medical institutions.关键词
