Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of small incision non phacoemulsification and phacoemulsification in patients with age-related cataract. Methods 80 cases(80 eyes) of patients with age-related cataract cured in our hospital from April 2015 to June 2016 were selected as the study objects. According to the different therapy regimens, they were divided into group A and group B with 40 cases in each. Patients in group A were treated with non phacoemulsification, and patients in group B were treated with phacoemulsification. The changes of visual acuity, quality of life, corneal endothelium and their effects were observed and compared at two weeks after operation. Results At two weeks after operation, there was no significant difference in the scores of the psychological status, social status, self-care ability and QOL score between the two groups(P > 0.05) The visual acuity less than or equal to 0.1 ratio of group A was 7.50%, which was significantly lower than that of group B with 25.00%. The visual acuity more than or equal to 0.5 ratio of group A was 65.00%, which was significantly higher than that of group B with 35.00%(P < 0.05). The number of corneal endothelial cells, cell density, hexagonal cell ratio, total effective rate in group A were(65.86±8.54), (1904.78±195.35)mm-2, (41.58±3.25)% and 95.00% respectively, which were significantly more than those of group B (47.28±9.25), (1635.52±171.31)mm-2, (30.11±4.36)%, 75.00%(P < 0.05). Conclusion Compared with phacoemulsification, small incision non phacoemulsification treatment is simple, and the equipment is cheap. It is more compliant to the clinical treatment of age-related cataract in primary hospital. It can reduce the damage to corneal endothelial cells. It has a positive application significance.关键词
