MSCT阑尾腔内气体对急性阑尾炎诊断价值的探讨
Diagnostic value of intra-appendiceal air in acute appendicitis on MSCT

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the difference of intra-appendiceal air on MSCT between the normal appendix group and the acute appendicitis group. Methods:Clinical data and imaging findings of 168 patients with suspicion of acute appendicitis un-dergoing abdominal MSCT were analyzed,retrospectively. Results:Of the 168 patients,93 had acute appendicitis confirmed by surgical operation. The prevalence of intra-appendiceal air was significantly different between the normal appendix group (74.67%,56/75) and the acute appendicitis group (16.13%,15/93) (P<0.05). Compared with the normal appendix group,the amount of appendiceal air was significant lesser in the acute appendicitis group,column-like appearance and air-fluid were more common in the acute appendicitis group (P<0.05). Conclusions:Although significant differences were seen in the air preva-lence、amount and shape between the normal appendix group and the acute appendicitis group at MSCT,it has a limited value for the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.关键词
