Study on the flexural behavior of RC beams strengthened with prestressed CFRP under secondary load

Abstract
For the study of the flexural behavior of RC beams strengthened with prestressed CFRP under second-ary load, three specimens have been made. Two experimental beams are tensioned by CFRP for ten times with improved clamp plate anchorage for CFRP , obtaining some experimental values. The flexural bearing capacity is compared between the strengthened beams and the contrast beam. And the calculation formulas of flexural load-carrying capacity are proposed for the strengthened RC beams. The experiment results show that after tensioning CFRP , the flexural behavior of the loaded beams is effectively improved; the calculated results are in good a-greement with the experimental ones.关键词
