MPPT Control of SRG for Wind Power Based on Power Converter and Excitation Voltage Disturbance Method

Abstract
A self-excitation decoupled power converter for the switched reluctance generator (SRG) is proposed.It can realize simultaneous operation of the two-phase winding in the SRG, thus overcoming the disadvantages of traditional power converters.Moreover,the excitation voltage can be adj usted independently,since it is decoupled from the power generation voltage by an isolated positive excitation circuit.Based on the proposed converter,this paper firstly proposes an excitation voltage disturbance method for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for SRG.The proposed method measures the output power and speed after the excitation voltage disturbance to achieve MPPT,which is independent of complex mathematical models.Finally,maximum power tracking performance from simulation and experimental results verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.关键词
