摘要

Abstract

Objective To discuss the effect of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation on postpartum functions of pelvic floor. Methods Totally 310 cases of puerperas accepting treatment from January 2013 to December 2014 in Ankang Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Shaanxi Province were selected as research objects. They were divided into conventional therapy group ( control group) , PFMT ( group A) , biofeedback electrical stimulation treatment group ( group B) , and combined therapy group of PFMT and biofeedback electrical stimulation ( group C) based on therapeutic method. The changes on vaginal muscle voltage, incidence of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse of the patients after treatment were observed, and their impacts on the functions of pelvic floor were analyzed. Results Although the vaginal muscle voltage of the cases in all groups was significantly improved ( t value ranged -28. 193 to -15. 092, all P<0. 05), the intra-group comparison still presented statistical significance after treatment (F=5. 921, P<0. 05). The vaginal muscle voltage of group C was obviously higher than that of other groups ( tcontrol-GroupC =18. 101, tgroupA-groupC =15. 052, tgroupB-groupC =16. 511, all P<0. 05). Compared to the status before treatment, the incidence of urinary incontinence of the cases in group B and C was significantly reduced (χ2group B =9. 244, χ2group C =18. 679, both P<0. 05). However, the intra-group comparison still presented statistical significance after treatment (χ2 =15. 575,P<0. 05). The incidence of urinary incontinence of group C was 6. 41%, which was obviously lower than that of other groups (χ2control-Group C =12. 221,χ2group A-group C =11. 292,χ2group B-group C =11. 152, all P<0. 05). Compared to the control group, the incidence of pelvic organ prolapse of group A, B and C were significantly reduced (χ2 value was 8. 486, 8. 375 and 29. 538, respectively, all P<0. 05). However, the intra-group comparison showed statistical significance (χ2 =15. 976, P<0. 05). That of group C reduced to 16. 67%, which was significantly lower than other groups (χ2control group-Group C =15. 110,χ2group A-group C =13. 551, χ2group B-group C =12. 985, all P<0. 05). Conclusion The combined therapy of PFMT and biofeedback electrical stimulation treatment shows notable curative effects on the recovery of the functions of pelvic floor. In addition, the therapeutic effects of the combined therapy are significantly superior to those received by singly using PFMT and biofeedback electrical stimulation treatment.
