Abstract
African countries and China share a long history of friendship.China-Africa marine co-operation is not only the new content of China-Africa cooperation framework,but also a necessary choice to promote world peace and respond to global marine disasters.Concerning African countries’needs for marine developing capacity,this paper analyzed their marine scientific and technological basis and challenges.By reviewing China-Africa’s marine cooperation and China’s assistance to African countries,the author proposed suggestions to promote African countries’ marine developing capacity and held that by taking advantage of “One Belt One Road”initiative, African coastal countries can make full use of China-Africa Marine Science and Technology Forum to train African marine scientific and technological personnel and carried out joint investigation so as to rapidly improve their marine developing capacity,promote their sustainable development and further advance China-Africa marine scientific and technological cooperation.关键词
