Optimization and test on throttle plate opening profile line of 3-way control ball valve

Abstract
Aiming at the problem that valve profile line design at home and abroad usually used experi-mental method and profile line was verified after model tests,flow area relationships of control valve about nine groups at opening from 20% to 100% were derived based on throttle principle.Genetic al-gorithm was used to establish throttle plate opening profile line,computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was used to simulate flow rate of nine groups at opening from 20% to 100%,and the results were ver-ified by experiments.The results showed that flow characteristic curve after optimization meets the requirements,and the errors of simulation and experiments is within 10%,accord with the require-ments of engineering practice.Optimization results verify the effectiveness of the optimization design method and applicability of CFD simulation technology,providing technical reference for optimization of control valve core opening profile line.关键词
