摘要

Abstract

Objective MicroRNAs are a class of regulatory molecules related to many immune system physiological processes , including differentiation and activation .Brain-specific miR-124 is expressed in microglia .Then ,we examined the effect of microR-NA-124 on EAE .Methods Results We found that peripheral administration of miR-124 in EAE marked suppression of disease . Conclusion These findings identify miR-124 both as a key regulator of microglia quiescence in EAE and as a previously unknown modulator of monocyte and macrophage activation .
