Abstract
Objective:To study the curative effect of postoperative recovery phase of traumatic brain injury treated by acupuncture combined with modified Tongqiao Huoxue decoction. Methods:There were 90 patients with moderate or severe traumatic brain injury divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,45 cases in each group. In the control group,patients were given rehabilitation treat-ment to relieve symptom,and in the observation group,besides the rehabilitation treatment,patients were also treated by acupuncture combined with modified Tongqiao Huoxue decoction. The two groups were treated for 8 weeks. Glasgow coma scale (GCS),daily life ability score (ADL),disability classification score (DRS) and Glasgow outcome(GOS) score were employed to evaluate clinical curative effect. Results:Eight weeks after treatment,there were 16 dropout patients totally. Finally,there were 38 cases in the control group and 36 case in the observation group. In the observation group,the ability of daily life(ADL) score,GCS score,GOS score,DRS score,total effective rate were higher than those in the control group,with statistical signifi-cance ( P<0 . 05 ) . Conclusion:Acupuncture combined Tongqiao Huoxue decoction showed definite effect for postoperative recovery phase of traumatic brain injury.关键词
