NPP Simulation of Forest Ecosystem in Three Provincesof Northeast China Based on BEPS Model

Abstract
In order to more accurately simulate the net primary productivity(NPP)of forest ecosystem and study NPP distribution characteristics in the Northeast China,three Provinces located Northeast China were selected as the study areas using the method of remote sensing combining the process model.1 km MODIS remote sensing data,daily meteorological data,soil data and other relevant data were used to estimate net primary productivity of forest ecosystem in three northeastern provinces in 2012.Multiple methods were employed to validate the results.The spatial distribution pattern and the seasonal variation of NPP were analyzed in three provinces.The results showed that the determination coefficient(R2)between the simulated net ecosystem productivity(NEP)and the measured net ecosystem carbon exchange(NEE)at MaoEr Montain site was from 0.88 to 0.92 with the root mean square error(RSME)of 0.3~1.4 gC/m·m·d.It was concluded that BEPS model can better estimate the NPP of three provinces in northeast forest ecological system.The average values of NPP in the coniferous forest,broad-leaved forest and mixed forest didn't exceed the simulation results of the different scholars,so the result was reasonable.关键词
