Abstract

In order to analyze the competitiveness of China’s telecommunication service trade, based on the import and export data of China's telecommunication service trade from 2005 to 2014, the Export Market Share, Revealed Comparative Advantage Index and Revealed Comparative Advantage Index of China's telecommunication service trade were calculated in this paper. Comparing China's competitiveness of telecommunications service trade in the international market with the data of United States, Germany and India, it could be found that the current market share of China's telecommunication service trade is low, the competitiveness is weak. It was proposed that China's communication companies can develop new market by "the Belt and Road Initiatives", improve service quality by strengthening international cooperation, enhance service innovation by increasing personnel training and take other measures to improve the competitiveness of China's service trade.
