Surface modification of silk fabric via AGET ATRP mediated by iron catalyst

Abstract
2- Hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) was grafted onto the silk fabric by atom transfer radical polymerization using activators generated by electron transfer (AGET ATRP) of a novel iron catalyst system. The optimum conditions of grafting were obtained by single factor experiment, and the structure characteriza⁃tion and its physical properties were examined. The results showed that HEMA was successful y grafted onto the silk surface by AGET ATRP and the anti- wrinkle property of the modified silk fabric was obviously im⁃proved.关键词
