Abstract
The silicone oil modified trimethylolpropane monoal yl ether dicaprylate was synthesized with trimethylolpropane monoal yl ether dicaprylate and low hydrogen- containing silicone oil as raw materials by the classic silicone hydrogen addition method using chlorine platinum acid as catalyst. According to the reac⁃tion temperature, the reaction time, the amount of catalyst and the ratio of n(octanoate)/n(low hydrogen- con⁃taining silicone oil) to the yield of the product, the orthogonal experiment was designed. Based on the results of orthogonal test, single factor analysis of reaction conditions were carried out. The optimum conditions were determined as fol ows: the reaction temperature was 110 ℃, the reaction time was 6 h, the amount of cata⁃lyst was 50×10- 6, n(octanoate)/n(low hydrogen- containing silicone oil)=1.0. The product was investigated by IR and TG. The results showed that trimethylolpropane monoal yl ether dicaprylate was successful y grafted into the main chain of silicone oil, and the product had good thermal stability.关键词
