Abstract
Objective To observe and analyze the gelatin sponge combined with tinidazole in prevention of dry socket of the clinical ef-fect of patients with impacted mandibular third molar surgery. Methods 128 cases of patients receiving treatment for impacted mandibular third molar surgery in the hospital from February 2014 to February 2016 were selected and divided into the gelatin sponge treatment group ( group A ) and simple tinidazole treatment group according to the random number table method, 64 cases in each group. Group A was treated with gelatin sponge combined with tinidazole to prevent dry socket after operation of mandibular impacted wisdom tooth extraction, while group B was treated with tinidazole for prevention of dry socket after operation of mandibular impacted wisdom tooth extraction. The incidences of dry socket and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence rate of dry socket in group A was 0, which was much lower than 7. 81% in group B ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . The incidence rate of adverse reactions in group A was 7. 81%, which had no statistically significant difference with 9. 38% in group B ( P ﹥ 0. 05 ) . Conclusion The preventive effect of gelatin sponge combined with tinidazole on mandibular impacted wisdom tooth ex-traction can effectively reduce the incidence of dry socket syndrome after the operation, promote the recovery of the patient and relieve the pain of the patient, which certainly has clinical application value.关键词
