Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the efficacy and safety of Yaotongning capsules combined with comprehensive physical therapy in treatment of lumbar disc herniation .METHODS: By retrospective method , 90 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted into Hubei Rongjun Hospital from May 2013 to May 2016 were selected to be divided into onservation group and control group via different therapeutic methods , with 45 cases in each.The control group were given comprehensive physical therapy , while the observation group additionally received oral Yaotongning capsules based on the control group .The clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse drug reactions of two groups were observed .Visual analogue scale ( VAS ) was adopted to evaluate the pain degree .RESULTS: The total effective rate of observation group was 86.67%(39/45), significantly higher than that of control group 66.67%(30/45 ) , with statistically significant difference ( P <0.05 ) . After treatment , the VAS of observation group was significantly lower han that of control group , with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).There was no serious adverse drug reactions in two groups .CONCLUSIONS: The clinical efficacy of Yaotongning capsules combined with comprehensive physical therapy in treatment of lumbar disc herniation is remarkable , which can effectively improve patients'symptoms and relieve patients'pain with high safety .关键词
