Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the clinical efficacy of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with dexamethasone in intratympanic injection in treatment of secretory otitis media .METHODS:100 patients (120 ears) with secretory otitis media admitted into Huanggang Central Hospital from Jan .2012 to Dec.2015 were selected to be divided into observation group and control group via the random number table , with 50 cases in each.The control group were treated with tympanic membrane puncture fluid after injection of dexamethasone , while the observation group received tympanic membrane puncture fluid after injection of ambroxol hydrochloride and dexamethasone .The clinical total efficiency were observed , and pure tone audiometry air conduction hearing were compared between two groups before and after treatment .RESULTS: The clinical total efficiency of observation group was 90%( 45/50 ) , significantly higher than that of control group [ 72%( 36/50 )], with statistical significance ( P <0.05 ).After treatment, the frequency of pure tone audiometry by air conduction hearing in two groups were significantly improved than that of before treatment , and the observation group were significantly higher than the control group , with statistical significance ( P <0.05 ) . CONCLUSIONS: The clinical efficacy of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with dexamethasone in intratympanic injection in treatment of secretory otitis media is remarkable , which can effectively improve the hearing level of patients .关键词
