Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the efficacy of butorphanol combined with dexmedetomidine in tranquillizing and calming for intensive care unit patients .METHODS: 80 critical patients admitted into Macheng People's Hospital from Jan.2012 to Dec.2015 were selected to be divided into observation group and control group via the random number table , with 40 cases in each .The control group were treated with dexmedetomidine infusion , while the observation group were given dexmedetomidine combined with butorphanol infusion .The efficacy, heart rate, mean arterial pressure , respiratory rate , cough score , agitation score , analgesia score and sedation score were compared between two groups.RESULTS:After treatment, the heart rate, mean arterial pressure, respiratory rate of observation group were significantly lower than that of control group , with statistically significant difference ( P<0.05 ) .The cough score, agitation score, analgesia score observation group were significantly lower than that of control group , yet the sedation score was significantly higher than that of control group , with statistically significant difference ( P<0.05 ) . The total efective rate of observation group was 95%( 38/40 ) , significantly higher than that of control group [ 80%(32/40)], with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy of butorphanol combined with dexmedetomidine in tranquillizing and calming is remarkable .关键词
