摘要

Abstract

The brake caliper has the main contribution to the vehicle braking moan noise.In order to reduce the braking moan noise,the brake caliper is redesigned.The brake shoes taper wear,which is the main factor of braking moan,is considered.The CAE analysis,bench test and vehicle validation are used to evaluate the taper wear of the brake shoes.Finally,the redesigned caliper passes the vehicle durability test and the moan noise disappears.This work provides the guidance for vehicle's moan noise evaluation and reduction.
