Abstract
Many scholars put forward the design method for the cantilever structure with concentrated mass at the end.But for the cantilever-beam type dynamic vibration absorber (CBDVA),the mass block does not satisfy the particle assumption.In this paper,to obtain the design method with higher accuracy,three hypotheses are proposed:(1) the absorber is an Euler-Bernoulli beam;(2) the mass block is a rigid body;(3) the dynamic and static deflections of the absorber are approximately equal.Based on the hypotheses,a new design method of CBDVA is derived using the energy method.The method considers the structural parameters of the mass block,which is simple,clear and convenient for engineering application.Results of five numerical examples for mass block and cantilever beam absorbers with different lengths and different sections show that the proposed method is accurate and the maximum error is less than 3%.This work has provided a new way for the practical design of CBDVA.关键词
