改进萤火虫算法应用于换热网络最优化
Optimization of Heat Exchanger Network with Improved Firefly Algorithm

Abstract
Heat exchanger network synthesis (HENS) is one of the most-studied problems in process synthesis. In this paper, an improved Firefly Algorithm (FA) was proposed for the optimization of heat exchanger network to significantly enhance performance and computational efficiency of mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP). Continuous processing was applied to integer variables that represent with/without heat exchanger units to simplify the studied model, and to better use the global search ability of FA. An adaptive strategy of light intensity absorption coefficient and a stochastic disturbance strategy of the optimal individual were then presented to guarantee convergence precision and enhance global search capability of the algorithm. Finally, the proposed method was applied to two typical cases from literature to demonstrate the efficiency of the improvement strategy.关键词
