Effect of Venturi Tube Structure Parameters on Degradating Rhodamine B Dye Wastewater with Hydrodynamic Cavitation Technique

Abstract
To study the effect of venturi tube structure parameters on hydrodynamic cavitation intensity, a water treatment equipment based on eight venturi tube with different structure parameters was de-signed to treat the Rhodamine B wastewater.The influence of venturi tube structure parameters,inlet pressure and reaction time on the cavitation effect were researched,experimental results are shown as follows:The strength of the cavitation effect is closely related to the structure parameters of venturi tube.As the inlet pressure increase from 0.3 to 0.5 MPa,the degradation rate of Rhodamine B of differ-ent venturi tubes show the tendency of increases firstly and then decreases.The change of venturi throat to pipe diameter ratio(0.24~0.08)and venturi tube throat length(25~35mm)have the same effect tendency on degradation rate of Rhodamine B than that of inlet pressure.As the reaction time extend from 0 to 60min,venturi tube diffusion length increace from 30 to 90 mm,degradation rate of Rhoda-mine B present a rising tendency,the maxmum degaradation rate of venturi tube can attain 15 .8%.关键词
