The Effect of Total Thyroidectomy for Primary Hyperthyroidism and its Influence on Patients with Cardiac Function and Liver Function

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical application of thyroid full cut method for the treatment of primary thyroid function hyperfunction and its influence on patient's heart and liver function. Methods:98 ca-ses of primary hyperthyroidism in our hospital from July 2014 to August 2015 were randomly divided into con-trol group and observation group ( n = 49) . Patients in the control group were treated with subtotal thyroidec-tomy, while the patients in the observation group were treated with total thyroidectomy. The clinical curative effect and impact on the patient's heart and liver function of patients in two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the transient hypothyroidism incidence of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group ( P<0.05) , and the recurrence rate of postoperative bleeding and operation time were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). Cardiac function and liver function indexes of pa-tients in the two groups were no significant difference ( P>0.05) . Conclusion:Clinical application of total thy-roidectomy in the treatment of primary hyperthyroidism has significant effect, can significantly improve the heart and liver function.关键词
