Abstract
Objective :To analyze the mediating effect of self - esteem between social support and mental health of military flight crew .Methods :255 military flight crew were evaluated on symptom checklist 90 ,self - Esteem scale and perceived social support scale ,such analysis as independent sample t - test ,Spearman correlation and AMOS were implemented .Results :The effects of age ,length of military service ,military rank ,marital status ,only child and educational level to mental health of military flight crew were not significant ;Mental health was significantly positive correlated with self - esteem (r = 0 .387 ,P < 0 .01)and negative correlated with social support (r = -0 .204 ,-0 .231 ,-0 .262 ;P < 0 .01) ;Self - esteem not only had direct path effect to mental health (Beta = 0 .376 ,P < 0 .01) ,but also as a mediator had indirect path effect between social support and mental health (Beta = -0 .239 ,P < 0 .01) .Conclusion :Self- esteem plays the complete mediating effect between social support and mental health of military flight crew .关键词
