Belief in a Just World in College Students and Its Impacts on Self - esteem
摘要
Abstract
Objective :To explore the present situation of the belief in a just world in college students and its impact on self - esteem .Methods :A total of 816 college students were selected and measured with Just World Scale for Col-lege Students and the Self - esteem Scale .Results :First ,the belief in a just world of college students had significant differences in gender(t = -4 .75 ~ 8 .02 ,P < 0 .001) .Second ,the self - esteem had significantly positive correlation with the belief in a just world ,immanent justice and ultimate justice (r = 0 .270 ~ 0 .324 ,P < 0 .01) .The self - esteem had significantly negative correlation with immanent injustice (r = -0 .126 ,P < 0 .01) .Third ,when gender and grades were left out ,the study found that the belief in a just world could significantly predict their self - esteem .Conclusion :The belief in a just world of college students can positively predict the level of self - esteem .关键词
