摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationships of eotaxin-3 gene single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP)with susceptibility to asthma,types and the levels of eotaxin-3.Methods We recruited 196 healthy control subjects (control group)and 196 patients with asthma (asthma group),including 140 cease of eosinophilic asthma (EA)and 56 cases of non-eosinophilic asthma (NEA).The polymorphism,allele frequency and genotype frequency of eotaxin-3 +77C >T,+2497T >G were detected by PCR-RFLP.ELISA was used to detect the level of eotaxin-3 in plasma.Results The geno-type frequency of eotaxin-3 +2497 TG and allele frequency of eotaxin-3 +2497G in the asthma group were significantly higher than those of the control group (all P <0.05).However,the allele frequency of eotaxin-3 +77T and genotype fre-quency of eotaxin-3 +77 showed no difference between the asthma and control groups (all P >0.562).The frequency of eotaxin-3 +2497 TG genotype in NEA patients was significantly higher than that in EA patients (P <0.05).The level of eotaxin-3 in TG genotype asthmatic patients was significantly lower than that in TT genotype (P <0.05).Conclusions Eotaxin-3 +2497T >G is associated,but eotaxin-3 +77 is not associated with asthma susceptibility,eosinophilic asthma and non-eosinophilic asthma.
