Abstract
The AJCC Cancer Staging Manual 8th edition will become the new guideline for cancer diagnosis and treatment worldwide. The new AJCC cancer staging established the AJCC level of evidence for the first time, which provide a more scientific and objective reference. AJCC Cancer Staging Manual 8th edition for hepatocellular carcinoma mainly updated in the definition of primary tumor staging (T), added the tumor histological grading, clearly defined the imaging and pathological description of primary tumor. And the evaluation index of liver function and AFP were enrolled as prognostic indicators for HCC. Moreover, we also demonstrated the differences among the various classification systems of HCC.关键词
