摘要

Abstract

This paper introduced a closed pre forging and half closed die forging method for the manufacturing of the steering knuckle.And the process parameters such as stock size,press amount when be flattening and so on were optimized by means of numerical simulation,and after being proved by the trial production,the forging production with the new method had high material utilization ratio, and effectively extended the die life,through which the streamline distribution is consistent with the shape of the forging.It can provide a reference for the manufacturing of branch-like forging piece.
