摘要

Abstract

To achieve the evaluation method of SBS modified asphalt related to the high temperature performance of mixture, the softening points of SBS modified asphalt with different types and dosages were analyzed under different test conditions (heating medium and board distance). Meanwhile, rutting tests were done to SBS modified asphalt mixture. The results show that the softening point measured under current specification method (ASTM D36)have no direct relationship with the high performance of mixture, and it is hard to identify the difference of softening points of different SBS modified asphalt. When the test conditions are revised to "the board distance of 10 mm and the heating medium of glycerinum", the softening points of different SBS modified asphalt measured under revised method could be significantly distinguished and are closely related to the dynamic stability of mixtures.
