Effect of a new type of marine polysaccharides on immune function of mice induced with cyclophosphamide

Abstract
The effect of a new type of marine polysaccharide on immunosuppressive model in mice was studied.The immunosuppressive mice induced with cyclophosphamide were selected as the animal model,and the correction clearance index,toe thickness,weight growth rate,thymus index,spleen index,half hemolysis value and NK cell activity were tested after 35 d when high,middle and low-dose (1.5,0.5 and 0.25 g/kg) of the marine polysaccharide were given by gavage once a day,respectively.Compared with the control group,correction clearance index,toe thickness differences,half hemolysis value and NK cell activity of the high and middle doses groups improved significantly.The body weight growth rates of each group showed no significant differences.The thymus index and spleen index of the high dose group of the polysaccharide increased significantly.The results indicated that the new type of marine polysaccharide could significantly improve the immunology functions of the immunosuppressive mice.关键词
