Modeling of Large-Capacity Nuclear Power Unit Suitable for Power Grid Stability Analysis

Abstract
Expansion of nuclear power changes power grid operation mode and brings new problems such as difficulty of peak load and frequency regulations. In order to master operation characteristics of nuclear power unit,more accurate modeling suitable for power grid stability analysis is pressing. This paper puts forward a pressurized water reactor nuclear power unit model based on MATLAB/Simulink. By using PSD-FDS (power system department-full dynamic simulation), this paper analyzes transient process of disturbed nuclear power unit and researches dynamic response to grid frequency and voltage fluctuations. Simulation results show that the model can accurately represent dynamic performance of nuclear power unit after power system disturbance and provide an effective tool for further research on interaction between power grid and large-capacity nuclear power unit.关键词
