Study on PCV Infection Situation of Non Immune Pigs in Daqing City and Surrounding Areas

Abstract
The experiment was conducted to detect the infection situation of PCV in pigs in Daqing city and surrounding areas.649 serum samples from 55 villages or pig farms (non-immune pigs) were used to test PCV2 antibodies by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the 488 tissue samples from 5 sick-pig farms and 6 slaughterhouses (PCV2 immune pigs) were used to test PCV1 or PCV2 by polymerase chain reaction (PCR).The results showed that the average positive rate of PCV2 antibodies was 54.70% in the PCV2 non-immune pigs, including the positive rates of sera of weaned piglets, finishing pigs and breeding sows with 50.68%, 70.00% and 54.70%, respectively.The positive rate of PCV1 in tissues of pigs was 4.46%, that of PCV2 in tissues of pigs was 22.32%.The survey was likely to determine pandemic strain sequence and provide evidences for taking scientific prevention in Daqing area.关键词
