Abstract
Objective To investigate the proapoptotic effect of platycodin D on MG-63 cells. Methods The proliferation of MG-63 cells was detected by MTT assay. The cell apoptosis and type of apoptosis were determined by flow cytometry. The levels of intracellular ROS and mitochondrial membrane potential in MG-63 cells were detected by DCFH-DA and JC-1 staining, respectively. Results The IC50 of platycodin D on MG-63 cells was 11.80μmol/L. The ROS level was increased, but the mitochondrial membrane potential was decreased in MG-63 cells after platycodin D treatment for 24 h. Conclusion Platycodin D can induce MG-63 cell apoptosis by enhancement of ROS level, which leads to mitochondria damage.关键词
