摘要

Abstract

To reveal the optimal arcing time of a 40.5 kV double-break vacuum circuit breaker during capacitive interruption when two breaks function non-simultaneously,the voltage distribution characteristics between the two breaks during capacitive interruption were briefly discussed,and the mathematical expression of over-voltage was derived.The values of over-voltage between two breaks in different arcing time were calculated.And a laboratory test was performed on a real 40.5 kV double-break vacuum circuit breaker to verify its re-ignition characteristics during capacitive interruption.As a result,based on the theoretical and test results obtained in this study,the optimal arcing time of the 40.5 kV double-break vacuum circuit breaker with permanent magnet actuator during capacitive interruption is suggested.
