摘要

Abstract

The switching speed,as one of the important state parameters of a vacuum circuit breaker,determines the breaking performance of the vacuum circuit breaker.This study designs a new magnetoelectric type velocity sensor with the advantages that it is power-free and maintenance-free.The new sensor is especially suitable for application in a gas insulated switchgear(GIS)or a vacuum switch with embedded poles.A vacuum circuit breaker with the rated voltage 10 kV and the open distance 8 mm is taken as an example to perform optimization analysis on the linearity and sensitivity of this sensor by means of the finite element analysis software Ansoft,so as to decide the optimum coil turn number and layer number.
