Abstract
The finite element model of tire and pavement structure was established by Hypermesh/LS-DYNA, by which effects of the braking speed and the stiffness ratio of the upper layer and the middle surface layer on the dynamic response of the pavement structure were studied. Results show that the main effect of vehicle load on asphalt pavement surface layer is the horizontal force and vertical force in the process of braking. With the increase of the braking speed, the stress and deflection of the pavement structure also increased; with the increase of the stiffness ratio of the upper layer and the middle surface layer, the road surface deflection showed a down ward tendency. So, in frequent braking sections it is advisable to improve surface layer stiffness ratio and control braking speed to reduce the load on the pavement damage.关键词
